Developing a lifelong love of books and reading for Arizona children
Libraries, Ltd., an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) corporation, establishes and maintains libraries for schools, hospitals, community centers and nonprofit organizations that serve children and teenagers in Arizona. We purchase new books, obtain donated (new) books, magazines and other learning aids for use in these libraries and provide specialized books for abused and at-risk children.
In honor of our founder, former First Lady of Arizona, Julia Hatch Goddard, we have established the Judy Goddard/Libraries, Ltd. Arizona Children’s Author/Illustrator Award and the Judy Goddard/Libraries, Ltd. Young Adult Author Award in conjunction with the Arizona State Library Association (AZLA.)
